Update: Bank Account Number Field on Invoice Extended from 12 digits to 17 digits.
When paying an eQuipt for Financial Planning Invoice through eQuipt Client Portal, the Bank Account Number field has been extended from a maximum of 12 digits to a maximum of 17 digits. In rare occurrences, some clients have bank or credit union account numbers longer than 12 digits. Previously, a client with a bank account number longer than 12 digits could not use that account to pay their eQuipt for Financial Planning invoices within eQuipt Client Portal – now they can. For security reasons, a saved Bank Account Number will continue to show only the last four digits within eQuipt Client Portal.
A Bank Account Number can be entered in two different places within eQuipt Client Portal:
1. Add a Payment: When an eQuipt for Financial Planning client wishes to put a Bank Account on file to use for future payments:Select Invoices > Payment Methods > Add Bank Account > Manage Payments:
2. Make a Payment: When an eQuipt for Financial Planning client logs into eQuipt Client Portal with an invoice to pay:
Select Invoices > Pay > Make a Payment > Bank Account:
See you again soon!
2023 has kicked off with three eQuipt Platform releases so far, and we will continue throughout the spring. So until next time…
All the best,
